EPHRAIM, Utah—July 18, 2007-—The Snow College football team will start this season right where it left off, ranked No. 2 in the nation.

The National Junior College Athletic Association/JCFootball.com poll has only Pearl River Community College ahead of the Badgers.

Snow finished last year ranked No. 2 with an 11-1 overall record including the Western States Football League title and a 26-21 victory over then No. 13 Coffeyville Community College (Kan.) in the 2006 Zion Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl.

Snow will return seven starters from last year’s team including two preseason first team NJCAA All-Americans: receiver Adam Frandsen and punter Jeff Wright.

Four WSFL teams are among the preseason top 25.

The Badgers open their season Aug. 25 at Air Force Junior Varsity. Snow’s first home game is against the Australian National Team Sept. 1.

Snow College, founded in 1888, serves approximately 3,000 students at its Ephraim campus.
