Badgers Get Second Straight Shut Out 52-0

Snow College improved to 3-0 with its second straight shut out victory, 52-0, Saturday at Badger Stadium over the Pima Aztecs.

Running back Soni Sotele amassed 115 yards on 13 carries, including two touchdowns to lead the Badgers to the victory.Quarterback Jon Eastman threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

Snow’s defense held Pima to 26 total yards in the contest. The defense has allowed only 14 total points in Snow’s first three games, all of them in the fourth quarter of the Badgers first game.

“I couldn’t be happier with the way we are playing on both sides of the ball,” said Snow head coach Steve Coburn. “We have a lot of talent on this team and each week we are gaining experience.

The No. 2 nationally ranked Badgers travel to Yuma, Ariz. To take on Arizona Western Saturday.
