Badgers Haul In Solid Recruiting Class

EPHRAIM, Utah—February 1, 2007-—Snow College looking to build on an 11-1 season, a conference championship, a bowl game win and a number two national ranking added some of Utah’s best prep players in their 2007 recruiting class.

The Badgers added Utah Gatorade Player of the Year, in quarterback Jase Hill. They also added 1st Team All-Stater Craig Harrison from Grantsville at the same position. The Badgers also nabbed five offensive linemen from the state. The running back position was solidified with the addition of a pair of 1st Team All-Staters in Judge’s Dominuque Parker and Grand’s Tanner Brown. Matt Harward, from American Fork was the lone wide receiver added.

Defensively, Snow College has few needs moving into 2007, but they were able to address them with the addition of five defensive backs from the state of Utah including Highland High School star, Sean Swenson who will play safety for the Badgers. Linebacker Garland Munns, the 3-A MVP, will serve an LDS mission before playing for Snow College.

Below is a list of the young men who have committed to play at Snow College in 2007 and beyond:

The Badgers, like all years, are not done with their recruiting efforts however as there are many big recruits in the state and elsewhere that are working towards qualifying through the NCAA. The Badgers have received commitments from many who signed with Division I-A programs on February 7th if they do not qualify through the NCAA clearinghouse.

Snow College, founded in 1888, serves approximately 3,000 students at its Ephraim campus. The college provides general education and applied technology programs leading to Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Pre-Engineering degrees, and certificates of completion in a number of occupational areas.  Once owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Snow College became a state college in 1932.
