THE SNOW COLLEGE NUMBER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Reconnecting with Excellence and Tradition
Snow College has a long tradition of athletic excellence. In large part Snow has been able to get by on limited resources and restricted budgets. It is now time to help Snow College move to the next level and start building a program that competes year-in and year-out for conference and national championships in all sports. In order to make this a reality, we need your help. We are calling on all former Badger Student Athletes to join us in sponsoring your number each year for the player who wears that number in the given year. We call this the “Number Scholarship Program.”
It is a program to match the past with the present and re-connect all of us to Snow College. Here are the elements of the program.
- Annual in-state donation of $5,000 USD
- Annual out-of-state donation of $10,000 USD
- Donor contributes to the Snow College Foundation (in support of the Number the donor wore while playing at Snow).
- The donation dollars are placed in the scholarship account of the player who wears that number
- Players number will be selected by coaching staff based on established criteria from donor and Snow College Football and administration (so, you may want to require that the player be from out state, carry a certain GPA, etc).
- The current player will be responsible to communicate with you on a periodic basis to update the donor on academic, athletic and other progress that player is making. The concept is to connect past and present.
- Donor may be willing to attend practice or game to make the announcement and selection
- Snow College would like to do a press release mentioning donor's contribution to the program
Thank you for your continued support of Badger Athletics.
Sincerely,
Kevin White
