Mail: Danny Hanks is currently in his second season as a member of the Snow College staff, but will enter the 2007 season as an assistant to Coach Ah You along the defensive line, while maintaining his role as the Director of Football Operations. Hanks made an immediate impact on the Badger program in 2006. He coordinated all travel plans, meals and hotel stays while the Badgers were en route to an 11-1 record and a #2 national ranking. Hanks directed the 1st Annual Snow College Badger Golf Tournament. In its inaugural campaign, the Badger football program hosted many at Manti’s Palisades Golf Course. This is one of many projects Hanks has taken intiative on to develop within the Badger program. Danny also played a major role in the development of the Badger Booster Club. Businesses and individuals alike have donated their time, money and efforts to help continue the great tradition that is Snow College Football and Hanks has been there every step of the way in the growth of the Badger Booster Club. Hanks got his start in coaching while serving as an intern at Brigham Young University. He assisted on the offensive side of the ball. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Hanks is also a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. Danny received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University. Hanks’ hometown is Republic, Washington and is married to the former
Miesha Mangum. The couple has three children – Ethan, Caden and
Elly.
