Jayson Anderson enters his third season with the Snow College Badgers.  He will continue his role of assisting the team’s defensive backs as well as assisting in the process of film breakdown and analysis.

In 2007, the Snow Badgers ranked first nationally in total defense.  Tremendous play in the defensive backfield allowed for this happen.  Anderson helped tutor defensive back, Andrew Rich, a 2nd Team All-American.  Rich’s development along with the rest of the secondary who featured zero sophomores was a major part in the success of Snow College football.

In addition, he was charged with coaching the offensive scout team, whose chief responsibility is to run the

opponent’s offense as they prepare the Badger defense.  Their efforts allowed the Snow College defense to face top competition throughout the practice week that enabled them to be better prepared on game day.

Anderson has also been an integral part in the day-to-day operations of the football program and has proved to be a tremendous asset for the Badgers.

Anderson is originally from Brigham City, Utah.  He was a starting offensive lineman for the Box Elder Bees.  In addition he wrestled and played on the school’s baseball team.  He served an LDS church mission to Mexico City, Mexico.
