PAYNE SWAC MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

In a game that is won by a team effort Geoff Payne of the Snow College Badgers received an individual award from the Scenic West Athletic Conference this past weekend when he was named the SWAC Most Valuable Player.

Payne led the SWAC in scoring with 22.2 points per game during the season. He was second in the conference with 7.3 rebounds per game, third in the conference for field goal percentage. Payne was also in the top 15 of the conference for steals and assists.

Despite this being Payne's first season with the Badgers Geoff is being recruited heavily by many division-1 schools. His decision will be heavily anticipated by the Badger coaching staff.
