Badgers Fall To Eagles 105-93

Snow College playing host to the nation’s second ranked team, the College of Southern Idaho, gave them everything they could handle but in the end came up just short while falling 105-93.

The Golden Eagles who have outscored opponents by an average of 38 points per game have breezed through their schedule in the early goings of the season, however Coach Ostlund’s youthful group did not back down to the challenge.

The Badgers faced a 53-36 halftime deficit and while it looked like it would be difficult to get back into the game, Snow College shot a scorching 63.9% from the field in the second half to tighten the game up.

Rene Farias led all of the Badgers with 25 points while also dishing out 8 assists and pulling down 7 rebounds. In all, Snow featured five players who reached double figures. Brady Hurst added 16 for Snow College while also grabbing 10 rebounds giving him the game’s only double-double.

Ryan Brimley added 15 for the Badgers with Rory Patterson netting 14 and Mike Larsen chipping in 11 for Snow College.

The Badgers will be in action on Saturday afternoon when they host North Idaho.
