BADGERS SWEEP CNCC
by Kevin White Badgers Moved Back Into Contention In The SWAC "I am happy for Everton," said Ostlund. "He has continued to work hard and give us solid play. We need it because we are all of a sudden a little thin at the forward position." Araujo's back-to-back three pointers in the second half blew open a six-point game on Friday and the Badgers were able to hold the pesky Spartans at Bay. On Saturday, Araujo got help from last week's "ESPN play of the week" hero Ryan Brimley as the sharp-shooting Sophomore canned 4-9 three point shots en-route to a game high 22 points. Freshman Jordan Rex added 14 points and four rebounds while Freshman Riley Crosbie pitched in seven points and 11 rebounds. With the victories the Badgers moved back into contention in the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) with a 4-5 conference mark and 17-7 overall. The Badgers will host the College of Southern Idaho on Friday and Saturday in what could propel the winners into second or third place in the SWAC. The first 1,500 fans to enter the Snow College Gymnasium will receive a free t-shirt as Snow College and APX Alarm Securities are sponsoring a "white out" night.
