Coach Judkins is now in his 8th season as head coach with an overall record of 155-67. Coach Judkins came to Snow College after playing collegiate basketball at Utah State University and Dixie College. While at Utah State, Judkins became the first Aggie to record a triple-double in a game. During the 1987-88 season he helped the Aggies win their conference tournament and a bid to the NCAA Tournament. Coach Judkins played three years for the Aggies. Prior to that he played one year at Dixie College.
Coach Judkins graduated from USU with a B.S. in Physical Education. In between his years at USU and Dixie, Judkins served an L.D.S. mission to Ohio.
In his first year coaching at Snow College, Judkins was an assistant to Larry Andersen. The next three seasons he worked with Elliott Anderson, before taking over the Badger's basketball program. Since that time, Judkins has emerged as one of the top junior college coaches in the nation, as he's led his teams to back to back SWAC Championships and the Coaches Coach of the Yearin 98-99 and 99-2000. Jons record as head coach of the Badgers is 207-80.
Judkins is originally from Salt Lake City, Ut. He married the former Lanette Gregory from Salt Lake. Together they have four children: Jaelle, Janessa, and twins Justin and Jillian.
