Snow Finishes Last Home Game

EPHRAIM - Seven Lady Badgers finished their careers at Snow College on Saturday by defeating the College of Southern Nevada 4-3 on a rain-shortened afternoon. The Lady Badgers took two of three against the Lady Coyotes and improved to 15-28 in the difficult Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC).

The Lady Badgers were lead by Freshman Heather Black who held the Lady Coyotes to just three runs over five innings. She got help from Sophomore Brooke Roberts whose two-run single in the bottom of the fourth gave the Lady Badgers the lead.

In Friday’s double-header Black pitched a six-hitter in the opener to help the Lady Badgers claim a 5-1 victory before dropping a heart-breaker in the second game 3-2.

Kyli Flanary, Kelsi Robb, Delyse Downey, Jaygan Johnson, Brooke Roberts, Aubrey Jenson, and Dani Stoker all finished their careers with the Lady Badgers and all seven will graduate next week.

The Lady Badgers finish the regular season next weekend with four games against Colorado Northwest Community College before preparing for the SWAC tournament in Salt Lake City May 7-9.
