Kelly Schoppe begins her 4th year leading Snow’s softball program. She is considered a "players coach" and her philosophy reflects it. Schoppe recruits enthusiastic players who love the game. She enjoys teaching the game and finds these players to be the most coachable. Schoppe also has a reputation for putting her players first – creating a family-like atmosphere on her teams.
Schoppe was named head coach after one season as an assistant at Snow. She played collegiately at Southwest Texas State and Snow College. At Southwest Texas St., Schoppe was a pitcher and 3rd-baseman and named to the all conference team her senior season. At Snow, she lead the Badgers to back-to-back conference championships and was named first team all American and all conference her sophomore season and honorable mention all American and all conference her freshman year. Schoppe was an all-around athlete at Springville High School. She excelled at softball, basketball, volleyball and swimming Schoppe earned a bachelor’s in exercise and sports science from Southwest Texas State and an associate’s from Snow College. She and her husband Joe reside in Ephraim.
