Player: Sam Schofield #7

Year: Freshman

Position: Middle Blocker - Sam is the new up-and-coming middle blocker for the Badgers. Only a freshman, Sam has gained experience through her play as a solid blocker with a focus on hitting around the block at angles.

Major: Pre-Dental

Educational Goals: Plans to attend Dental School in Washington

Pre-Game Rituals: Prayer before every game " I just try to go out there and play stress free"

Why I Play Volleyball: Mother has been an inspiration to Sam since she started playing in the 7th grade

Family: Sam is the middle child of 5 with 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Getting To Know Sam Better: Sam was raised in Glendale Arizona by her loving parents who currently reside in Provo, UT.  Sam enjoys reading, playing the piano and staying active. She also spent 3 years as a runway model during her teen years. Sam says that her best moment playing volleyball was playing nationals with her club team and getting 3rd place.
