LADY BADGERS NET FIRST CONFERENCE WIN OF SEASON

Lady Badgers Dominate 70-53

Snow College traveled to Rangeley, Colorado with a match-up against Colorado Northwestern on Friday night. They were looking fore their first conference win of the season which they were able to attain while cruising to a 70-53 win.

The Lady Badgers controlled the game throughout although they led by just three points at halftime. However, strong offensive play and a hefty rebounding advantage for Snow College allowed for a convincing victory.

Coach Cindy Lindsay’s ball club saw four players reach double figures with freshman guard Cami Hymas leading the way with 19 points. Hymas was 8 of 10 from the field. She also pulled down 8 rebounds.

Both Lindsie Wilson and Amy Parkinson netted 13 for Snow College with Leah Archibald adding 10 for Snow College.

The Lady Badgers dominated the Spartans on the boards as well. Snow held a 51-30 rebounding advantage while Parkinson and Torle Nenbee each grabbed 10 rebounds.

With the win, Snow improved their record to 9-7 overall with a 1-1 conference record. They will be in action Saturday night versus in-state rival Eastern Utah.
