Lady Badgers Run Into A Buzzsaw

EPHRAIM - The Snow College Lady Badgers ran into a buzzsaw Friday night in Ephraim.

The Lady Badgers, riding a five-game winning streak, and 10 of their last 11, got down early and couldn't claw back eventually falling 75-55 to the league-leading North Idaho Cardinals.

Sammie Jensen scored 12 points and pulled down 12 rebounds but only one other Lady Badger scored in double figures as the Lady Cardinals held Snow to 35 percent shooting for the game.

Snow falls to 9-6 in conference and 18-7 overall and face a rematch against the College of Southern Idaho on Saturday afternoon in Ephraim. The winner of that game will hold on to third place in the difficult Scenic West Athletic Conference.
