LADY BADGERS END LOSING STREAK
by Gary Chidester

Lady Badgers Get A Win Over Air Force.

The Lady Badgers stepped out of the conference to end a four game losing streak with a 94-76 win over the Air Force Prep on Wednesday of last week. Snow College took advantage of a bye week in conference to schedule a game in the middle of the week.

"The game on Friday allows us some time to rest and recover," said Head Coach larry Shurtliff. "It also gives us some extra time to prepare for CEU this week.

The Lady Badgers used 27 points from Andrea Durrant, 13 from Corissa Kesterson, 12 from Tori Lybbert and eleven from Rana McMurtrey as Snow College dominated inside the paint for the win.

The Badgers as a team shot more than 40 percent from the field for the first time in four games to pick up the win. Meridee Spendlove contributed seven points, but her 12 assists were a game high.

In a game that was closer than the final score for the first half and much of the second half Shurtliff picked up his first technical as head coach of the Badgers. The technical seemed to serve it's purpose as snow College pulled away from the Prep school and continued on for the win.

The Badgers will be on the road this week as they face the Golden Eagles of the College of Eastern Utah on Friday and Saturday.
